MEET JENN

Jennifer is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer with a Master's Degree in Nutrition Education,
and the founder of Trainers in Transit LLC.

Jennifer started the company in 2010 after leaving her career in Corporate Fitness & Wellness where she was a managing director for multiple Corporate Fitness Centers throughout New York City and the Northeast region. Jennifer’s experience in the field spans over 15 years; she has worked with corporate clients such as IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough and Dow Jones. Jenn was a running coach with Team in Training Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and has  personally finished 7 marathons. 

Jennifer specializes in HIIT-style workouts, endurance training and corrective exercise. She assists clients working with their physical therapists, chiropractors and doctors in the rehabilitation and recovery from various types of injuries. She also works closely with clients looking to improve their eating habits, seek guidance regarding special diets, or are simply trying to understand the role of nutrition to meet their fitness goals.  She has recently become a Certified Reiki Practioner and is excited to offer this new (age) service to her clients!

Additionally, Jenn has on-camera, television experience (Live with Kelly & Ryan and Rachael Ray) and currently teaches classes for the producers of ABC-TV. She recently partnered with fitness app, Aaptiv, as a coach for their mobile workout classes in addition to being a writing consultant for their blog. Jenn's passion for writing has also earned her 4 published articles on ThriveGlobal. 

 
 
  LEON JOSEPH: PERSONAL TRAINER   Leon is certified through NASM, ISCA and AFAA. He began as a wrestler and martial artist, and now uses those techniques as a basis in his training. Now a fitness model and actor, Leon has learned to use posture and breath control to teach his clients the importance of these actions in their workouts.

  STELLA ALMBLADE: PILATES INSTRUCTOR   Stella is a comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor in Classical, Physical Mind and Core Dynamic methods. She is registered by the Internationally accredited Pilates Method Alliance, as well as a dancer for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company. Stella has a deep understanding of functional movement, and focuses on correct body alignment and precise execution of exercises. Stella can challenge any fitness level!

Stella is a comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor in Classical, Physical Mind and Core Dynamic methods. She is registered by the Internationally accredited Pilates Method Alliance, as well as a dancer for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company. Stella has a deep understanding of functional movement, and focuses on correct body alignment and precise execution of exercises. Stella can challenge any fitness level!

  STEPHANIE BROOKS: DANCE INSTRUCTOR   Stephanie began her dance career at the age of 3. She has taught and choreographed for 10 years and in 6 different countries. She also teaches Pilates, Zumba, MELT Method, group fitness classes, and has experience working with students with disabilities and those recovering from injuries. Stephanie has taught at Ballet Academy East, Westside YMCA, Steps on Broadway’s outreach program at Hudson Guild, and Broadway Dance Center.

Kali believes in the life-changing benefits of fitness - physically, mentally and spiritually which is why she is so passionate about impacting the lives of her clients!

He also holds certifications for Kettlebell training, Pre/Post Natal training and is experienced with TRX and Functional exercise. Kenny has worked with clients of all levels with a variety of goals. From weight loss to sports-specific training to improved overall health, Kenny is committed to getting clients the results they’re looking for. Through his inspirational coaching techniques and positive motivation he will empower you to achieve your fitness goals.

A lifelong dancer, she has an affinity towards movement and is excited to help you discover how to tune in your breath to lead your movement and activate your deepest muscles for more strength and length. Marcela is certified in STOTT Pilates. She holds a B.A. in Earth Science from the University of Houston and is currently studying at the Alvin Ailey School with the Independent Study Program. 

  COCO MINOT: PERSONAL TRAINER   Coco is an American Academy of Personal Training (AAPT) certified personal trainer and specializes in strength training, weight loss programs, spinning, and half marathon/marathon prep. She has been a trainer since fall of 2015, and I has worked with clients of all ages, fitness levels, and goals. Coco loves taking the time to get to know her clients and their specific goals, and ensuring that they are reaching them inside and outside the gym. She is extremely passionate about fitness and health because she understands the life changing differences it can make on someone both physically and emotionally.

  MEREDITH CORONATO: PILATES INSTRUCTOR | WEIGHT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT | PERSONAL TRAINER  Meredith began as a dancer and rhythmic gymnast before beginning her career in health and fitness. She has worked with Tracy Anderson Studios in Los Angeles and had the opportunity to assist in training Gwyneth Paltrow. She currently manages the Pilates Program for Equinox and certifies other instructors to teach Pilates. Meredith is also a certified Doula; so if you’re having a baby the “natural way,” she’s a fantastic coach!

Great experience! Friendly trainers and challenging workouts. What I like most is all of the trainers have varied backgrounds of experience (yoga, pilates, dance, running), so the workouts incorporate different types of exercises for a full-body workout.
